Encyclopedia of British History - Spartacus educational  is a small book publishing company formed by a group of teachers in 1986, committed to providing free resources for the Internet community. It provides a didactic Encyclopedia of British History and historical essays - mainly about political movements, economic and social hitory in the two last centuries.

History online - A new initiative offering a comprehensive insight into history in the UK today. Over 30,000 records on books in print published by the leading academic history  publishers in the UK. General info about teaching history in higher education, theses, seminars, conferences, journals and articles. 

NISS-UKLibrary catalogues -The following collections of catalogue information are available : UK OPACs - arranged by region (The catalogues in this list are grouped under headings of : England , Scotland , Wales , and Northern Ireland). OPACs in the London area are also grouped together., UK OPACs - in alphabetical order, and the OBI pages (OPACs in Britain and Ireland). The first two provide simple lists of links to catalogues at UK sites, whereas the OBI information covers the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and offers links with additional details about each catalogue and site .

Project Aldus - Archive of primary and secondary sources relating to English Renaissance and Early Modern Age. Project Aldus has been taken off-line temporarely.

Scottish Economic History Database, 1550-1780 -Database related to the project on Scottish wages and prices , 1550-1780, founded by the British Economic and Social Research Council. 

Victorian Web - Interdisciplinary sources for victorian age historians. Archives of essays covering philosophy, religion, economy, literature, visual art, science, politic and an  useful  timeline of British History Political & Economic History. Site maintaned by George Landow at the Brown University. See in particular  the Victorian History Overview: from the Civil War to the Twentieth Century (with an Emphasis on the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries). 

Voice of the Shuttle: Eighteenth-century English Literature - This page, edited by Jack Lynch, is part of the larger collection of Eighteenth-Century Resources on the Net. "English Literature" includes works written in English though in departments of English and American literature. Some authors are also cross-listed under separate national, regional, or ethnic categories (e.g., "Irish," "Australian," "Afro-American").
