ARTFL Project (University of Chicago and CNRS)- American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language. Textual Database of 2000 texts from 13th to 20th Centuries. Link to the ARTLF Enciclopédie Project. 

Bibliothèque Nationale de  France - Extensive collection of the resources of the National Library of France including access to on-line catalog and scanned images of many manuscripts. 

CETE(Centre d'édition de textes électroniques de l'Université de Nantes) - The CETE publishes French rare texts, inedits or disappeared, readable by JAVA. See, in particular, the Middle-Ages, the 16th century (text de l'Edit de Nantes) and the Africa of 19th century sections. 

EuroDocs-France - Collection of documents relating to the history of France: document translations and links to the medieval period through the Dreyfus Affair. 

Frantext- Databases of French interdisciplinary texts by the INaLF-CNRS. Users need subscription. 

French Revolutionary Pamphlets - Scanned images of rare texts of the Revolutionary period. 

Gallica (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) -  Digitization project relative to French-language XIXth century works of literary, historical, philosophical, juridical, economical and political subject. Text images and excerpts readable by ACROBAT. 

H-France World Wide Web Site - This site, sponsored by H-France and the Society for French Historical Studies, contains a wide range of resources including calls for papers, maps, links, bibliographies, and more. 

Révolution française - Site maintaned by Philippe Royer. Notes et Archives 1789-1794:  a complete timeline, portraits of the actors of the Revolution, images and commentaries, links to related sites. Under construction: Robespierre, La mémoire assassinée, section entirely devoted to the figure of Robespierre. 

The French Revolution - Primary and secondary sources  on the French Revolution. This site offers an interesting bibliography on Luis XVI and a complete timelime. Links to  others related works on the web. 

The Victorian Web overview of the Revolution - A short excellent overview on the French revolution by David Cody, Associate Professor of English, Hartwick College. Link to a small range of classics related to the period (Burke, Reflections on the revolution in France and works of Thomas Paine). 

Voyage en Terre d'Oc, le catharisme  - Interesting site on the history of Catharism, providing the chronology of the history of the Cathar religion and the Albigensian Crusade. French text.
