Cromohs Guide to Internet Resources for Historians

The following list cannot aim at completeness, for the nature itself of the Internet resources. Our intent is to offer a first guide to people willing to avail themselves of Internet and the World Wide Web for studying themes relating to the history of modern culture. The inevitably different importance, dimensions and interest of internet resources for historians, and their quick growth, makes it necessary not a mere cumulative listing, but also a critical selection, that assign to any initiative its proper place and value, in order to really aid the student to discern in advance and to spare time in his research. What follows is then just a first-approach and necessarily provisional tool.

Cromohs's guide to internet historical resources is performed and maintained by Camilla Hermanin. Suggestions for the updating, correction and improvement of this guide are welcomed
