The English Civil War Society - The English Civil War Society (ECWS) is a UK-based history re-enactment group which portrays events of the period 1642-51 for the entertainment and education of the audience at public displays. It's most popular enterprises are the Civil War Battle Re-enactments, the Military Drill Demonstrations and the Living History Displays: aspects of everday life in the 17th century. 

H-Net: Humanities On-Line - A comprehensive home page maintained by H-Net, which sponsors more than 75 electronic discussion networks or "lists" by and for professional scholars in the humanities, social sciences and especially history.

Institute of Historical Research (London) - Gateway website to primary and secondary historical resources listed by topics: France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and world history. 

Research Institute for the Humanities (Hong Kong)  - This WWW site is located in Research Institute for the Humanities (RIH), Faculty of Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is maintained by the Humanities Computing and Methodology Programme in the Institute: provides search engines and  metaindexes to general resources: libraries and directories. Besides this WWW server, it is also running a Gopher server and an FTP server. 

Società italiana storici dell'economia - Homepage of the SISE, giving information about the Society ad its purpose. The second part of the server contains a general overview of internet resources for economic historians:websites, mailing lists, newsgroup. 

World History Center (Northeastern University) - The World History Center has existed as an informal unit since September of 1994, whose purpose are: to conduct research in world history, to  develop teaching materials for world history at secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels based on recent research and conceptualization, to develop institutional structures facilitating the study of world history. The wesite provides information about its courses, seminars and research projects. 

DRH97 Digital resources for the humanities (St. Anne's College, Oxford, sept. 1997) and DRH98 Digital resources for the humanities (Glasgow University, sept.1998) - The annual international forum for all those are interested in the scholar producing or using electronic edition, wishing to improve both access to and conservation of the digital information that caracterize contemporary culture and scholarship.
